Bhajan & Devotional Singing Classes in Trinidad and Tobago
Devotional singing your family will actually sing together
Not every family wants an exam ladder. Many simply want the child to be able to sing at the evening lamp, lead a bhajan at Navaratri, or hold a Thiruppugazh at the temple without reading it off a phone. That is a real syllabus of its own, and this is it.

Devotional singing your family will actually sing together
Learning a bhajan from a video gets the tune roughly right and the words roughly wrong. Taught properly, the same song arrives with its raga, its tala, its pronunciation and its meaning, which is the difference between a child performing a song and a child singing something they understand.
Indians arrived in Trinidad as indentured labourers from 1845, mostly from the Bhojpuri-speaking villages of eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, and Indo-Trinidadians are now around a third of the country. Divali is a national holiday and village Ramleela is still performed; what has largely been lost over five generations is the language, and parents come to us to give their children the Sanskrit and Hindi behind traditions they already live.
Pronunciation and meaning taught line by line, not left to imitation
Festival-ready repertoire, timed to Navaratri, Janmashtami and Deepavali
Enough raga and tala grounding to sing correctly, without an exam track
No instrument required, and songs the whole family can join at home

Trinidad is nine and a half hours behind India. A weekday after-school slot would fall in the Indian small hours, so we are plain about it: Saturday and Sunday morning batches, 8:00 to 10:00 AM local, are what we offer, landing in the Indian evening.

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For bhajan & devotional singing classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for AST (UTC−4). Trinidad is nine and a half hours behind India.
“Living in California, we worried our kids would lose their roots. The online Shloka and Gita classes changed that. They chant every morning now, and understand what the words mean.”
