Line, shape, proportion and negative space, the observation habit every artist is built on. Held pencil to paper, no shortcuts.
Colour & Painting
Colour wheel, mixing, washes and layering across crayon, oil pastel, poster colour and watercolour, so children learn what each medium can and cannot do.
Indian Folk Art I: Warli & Madhubani
Warli’s circles, triangles and daily-life scenes from Maharashtra, then Madhubani’s dense line-and-fill patterns from Mithila, both taught with the stories behind the motifs.
Indian Folk Art II: Rangoli & Kalamkari
Rangoli grids, symmetry and festival designs, and Kalamkari’s narrative panels from Andhra, where a painting tells an episode from the epics.
Craft & Making
Paper craft, clay, collage and festival decoration, work that comes off the page and into the child’s hands.
Sketching & Digital Art (10-15)
Pencil shading, character design and perspective, then the same skills on a tablet, for older children who want to draw seriously.
Portfolio & Showcase
Choosing, finishing and presenting their strongest pieces, with a family showcase at the end of each term.

Yes, and better than most parents expect. The mentor’s hands and paper are on screen throughout, and because batches are small they can see each child’s page and correct a grip or a proportion in the moment, the same as in a room. If you would rather your child sat in a studio, we run offline arts batches at our HSR Layout centre and in Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
