Indian Folk Art I: Warli & Madhubani
Warli’s circles, triangles and daily-life scenes from Maharashtra, then Madhubani’s dense line-and-fill patterns from Mithila, both taught with the stories behind the motifs.
Indian Folk Art II: Rangoli & Kalamkari
Rangoli grids, symmetry and festival designs, and Kalamkari’s narrative panels from Andhra, where a painting tells an episode from the epics.
Craft & Making
Paper craft, clay, collage and festival decoration, work that comes off the page and into the child’s hands.
Sketching & Digital Art (10-15)
Pencil shading, character design and perspective, then the same skills on a tablet, for older children who want to draw seriously.
