Debate is the one speaking skill where somebody is actively trying to take apart what your child just said. That changes how you prepare: a case has to survive contact, not merely sound good in a mirror. Children here learn to build an argument, anticipate the reply, and answer it while still standing up.

In public speaking your child controls the content. In elocution they deliver someone else’s piece beautifully. Neither prepares them for the moment an opponent finds the hole in their reasoning thirty seconds after they sit down. Debate is where a child learns that being contradicted is not an attack, and that changing your mind in public is a strength.
The Greater Toronto Area is where most of our Canadian families are, and it is one of the few places abroad where a parent can realistically find an in-person option. Families who choose us over one have usually done so for batch size and for pronunciation correction rather than for convenience.

Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Scarborough and Vaughan account for most of our GTA families. Fees are quoted in CAD, and we will tell you plainly if a Toronto family would be better served by a local in-person class.

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For debate classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for ET. Weekday 6:30 to 8:00 PM Eastern and Saturday mornings Eastern.
