Storytelling needs someone to tell it to
A child telling a story to a camera is doing half the exercise. The other half is the room — the pause while eight other children wait, the face that reacts a beat too late, the moment they realise nobody laughed and have to keep going anyway. Our centre in HSR Layout Sector 3 runs storytelling in person for families in Hulimavu, and that audience is the part that cannot be simulated.

Storytelling needs someone to tell it to
Our online storytelling classes teach the same craft: structure, voice, character, pace. What a room adds is consequence. A child who has held the attention of a real audience, and once lost it and recovered, carries something into a school assembly that a well-reviewed video call does not give them.
A real audience of peers, which is the whole point of telling a story aloud
Learning to hold a pause without panicking into the next sentence
Applause and honest peer reaction, which does more for confidence than praise from a parent
The same mentors and curriculum as the online batch, so switching either way costs nothing
What your child walks away able to do
Telling a five-minute story to a room without notes
Voice, pace and gesture that hold an audience rather than race past it
Recovering out loud from a stumble instead of freezing

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For offline storytelling classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch scheduled for IST, around school hours and homework rather than across them.

“My son now begins every day with his shlokas, chanting them perfectly, and actually understanding what they mean. What moved me most is how much calmer and more focused he has become.”
