Most parents looking for a music class are offered a keyboard or a guitar, and a year later the child can play three songs and still cannot sing in tune. We start with the voice, because the ear is what a musician is actually made of, and an ear trained on a classical foundation carries into any instrument, any language and any style the child picks up later.

A class that teaches songs by imitation produces a child who can sing along to a track and falls apart without it. Training the ear produces the opposite: a child who can hold a note alone, find a pitch unprompted, and learn a new song by listening rather than by being drilled on it.
The USA is our largest community outside India, and it is spread across four time zones, which shapes everything about how we schedule. Most families who write to us are second-generation parents whose own Sanskrit came from a grandparent, and who have realised their children have no equivalent person to learn it from.

Batch timings for the USA
Live classes on PST/EST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Weekend mornings Eastern and Pacific are the two slots that fill first, because they land in the Indian evening and work for both coasts. Weekday batches run at 6:30 to 8:00 PM local on the East Coast. We do not ask a child in California to attend at 5 AM, and if the only slot we can offer you is a bad one we will say so.
Families join us from the Bay Area, New Jersey, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta and Chicago in the largest numbers. Several batches have ended up entirely North American, which children like, they are learning alongside others in exactly the same position.

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For online music classes for kids that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for PST/EST. Weekend mornings Eastern and Pacific are the two slots that fill first, because they land in the Indian evening and work for both coasts.
