Panchatantra Classes in the Bay Area
The oldest stories India told about being clever
The Panchatantra was written to teach princes how the world actually works, and it shows — its animals are not sweet, they are shrewd. Read properly it is a course in niti, practical judgment, wrapped inside the oldest frame narrative India produced: stories that open inside other stories.

The oldest stories India told about being clever
A general moral-stories class asks what the right thing to do was. The Panchatantra more often asks what the clever thing was, and those are not always the same answer — which is exactly why children argue about it. We teach the tales as the argument they are, and the frame structure as a storytelling technique the child can then use themselves.
The Bay Area is our single largest catchment in the USA, and the one where parents arrive with the clearest brief. Many work in tech, many learned their own shlokas from a grandparent in India, and most have already tried an app or a recorded course before writing to us.
The five tantras taught as five distinct arguments, not one moral bag
Retelling practice — the same fable told three different ways
Sanskrit names and niti terms kept, and explained
Animal characterisation treated as a craft tool the child can reuse
Batch timings for the Bay Area
Live classes on PT, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Saturday and Sunday mornings Pacific are the slots that fill first, because 9 AM in Fremont is 9:30 PM in Bengaluru and both ends of the call are awake and functioning. Weekday batches run 6:00 to 7:30 PM Pacific. We will not put a child in a 5 AM class to make a batch work.
Fremont, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Cupertino, Milpitas and Santa Clara are where most of our Bay Area families are. Several batches have ended up entirely Bay Area, which children like — nobody has to explain why they are learning this.
What your child walks away able to do

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For panchatantra classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for PT. Saturday and Sunday mornings Pacific are the slots that fill first, because 9 AM in Fremont is 9:30 PM in Bengaluru and both ends of the call are awake and functioning.
“The storytelling program transformed my shy son. Last month he confidently narrated a Panchatantra tale at his school assembly. The mentors are patient, warm and world-class.”
Panchatantra Classes in the Bay Area, FAQs
They share a few tales and differ in what is asked of the child. Moral stories work from a value outward. The Panchatantra works from a situation, and often rewards cleverness rather than obedience — children notice that, and the discussion which follows is the point of the class.
