We teach both halves properly. Observation, line, proportion and colour as real technique, and Warli, Madhubani, Rangoli and Kalamkari as real disciplines with their own rules.

The test of an art class is whether a child improves at drawing, not whether they come away with something fridge-worthy. Mentors work on grip, proportion and observation from the first class, and because batches are small they can see each child’s page on screen and correct it while the pencil is still moving.
In Montreal most immigrant children are schooled in French by law, so an Indian family here is often raising a child in French at school, English at work and an Indian language at home. Parents tell us an English-medium class that ties the scriptures back to their own family language is the piece that is otherwise missing.

Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. Families outside Bengaluru take the online batches, which cover the identical curriculum.
