Online Art Classes for Kids in Pune
Art classes that teach technique and India’s own traditions
Most children’s art classes are one of two things: a craft hour where everyone makes the same thing, or a Western fundamentals course that treats Indian art as a decorative afterthought. We teach both halves properly. Observation, line, proportion and colour as real technique, and Warli, Madhubani, Rangoli and Kalamkari as real disciplines with their own rules.

Art classes that teach technique and India’s own traditions
The test of an art class is whether a child improves at drawing, not whether they come away with something fridge-worthy. Mentors work on grip, proportion and observation from the first class, and because batches are small they can see each child’s page on screen and correct it while the pencil is still moving.
Pune sits in an unusual position — a strong local Marathi cultural life alongside a large population that moved here for work in the last decade. Our Pune enquiries split fairly evenly between the two, and mentors handle them differently: one group wants depth added, the other wants a foundation built.
Drawing fundamentals taught as skill, not as talent
Four Indian folk art forms alongside Western technique
Every child works on their own page, not a shared template
Small batches, so the mentor sees each drawing as it happens
Batch timings for Pune
Live classes on IST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Weekday 5:30 to 8:00 PM IST, plus weekend morning batches. Same timezone, so mid-term changes are easy.
Most enquiries come from Kothrud, Aundh, Baner, Hinjewadi, Kharadi and Viman Nagar. Warli, being Maharashtra’s own form, is one of the most requested art modules here.
What your child walks away able to do
Drawing from observation with correct proportion
Confident use of pencil, pastel, poster colour and watercolour

Prefer a room, paper and paint on a table?
Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. If Pune is within a sensible drive, tell us and we will send the current offline batch timings.
Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For online art classes for kids that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for IST. Weekday 5:30 to 8:00 PM IST, plus weekend morning batches.
“My son now begins every day with his shlokas, chanting them perfectly, and actually understanding what they mean. What moved me most is how much calmer and more focused he has become.”
Online Art Classes for Kids in Pune, FAQs
Better than most parents expect. The mentor’s hands and paper are on screen throughout, and with a small batch they can see each child’s page and fix a grip or a proportion in the moment. Families who would rather have a room can join in-person arts batches at our HSR Layout centre or our Jayanagar arts studio in Bengaluru.
