We do not hand children a simplified Gita of nice sayings. We take a small number of verses, in Sanskrit, and go slowly enough that an eight-year-old can say what Krishna is actually claiming and whether they agree. Fewer verses, properly understood, beats a summary of all eighteen chapters.
Kuwait has one of the oldest Indian communities in the Gulf, with families from Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Andhra going back several generations of contracts.
