Online Drawing Classes for Kids in Kozhikode
Drawing classes that start with learning to look
Children do not draw what is in front of them, they draw what they believe is in front of them — a symbol for an eye, a symbol for a hand. Teaching drawing means interrupting that. We work on looking before technique: measuring by eye, noticing the shape of the gap between two things, and drawing the line that is actually there.

Drawing classes that start with learning to look
This is the class for a child who wants to get genuinely good, and it is more demanding than a craft hour. There is repetition in it. There are weeks of shading a single sphere. What comes out the other side is a child who can draw anything in front of them, which is a different thing from a child with a folder of nice pictures.
Kozhikode — Calicut — is a Malabar port city with a long history of many communities living close together, and its Hindu families keep a temple life centred on places like Tali. Parents here often ask for the Ramayana course in Karkidakam, the monsoon month when the Ramayana is traditionally read at home in Kerala.
Proportion and measuring by eye, not by grid tracing
One and two-point perspective, taught properly
Light and shade, from a single sphere up to a full still life

IST weekday evenings 5:30 to 8:00 PM and weekend mornings. The south-west monsoon is heavy on the Malabar coast, and online simply removes a wet evening drive.
Classes are online, taught from Bengaluru, with Malayalam explanation where a child needs it.
What your child walks away able to do
Drawing an unfamiliar object accurately from observation
Convincing light, shade and form
Faces and figures with correct proportion

Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. If Kozhikode is within a sensible drive, tell us and we will send the current offline batch timings.
Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For online drawing classes for kids that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for IST. IST weekday evenings 5:30 to 8:00 PM and weekend mornings.
“My daughter used to freeze on stage. After a few months of public speaking classes, she confidently delivered a speech at her school assembly. The mentors are patient and truly gifted.”
Online Drawing Classes for Kids in Kozhikode, FAQs
Almost none of it is. Drawing accurately is mostly trained observation plus hand control, and both improve with correct practice. The children who are called talented are usually the ones who drew more, earlier.
