Online Puja Classes in Canada

Learn to perform the puja, not just attend one

Most households in Canada perform some form of daily puja, and most perform it from memory — a sequence half-learnt from a grandparent, with the mantras approximated and a few steps quietly dropped. These classes teach the procedure as it is actually laid down: each step in its place, each mantra pronounced correctly, and the reason behind both.

Why families choose us

Learn to perform the puja, not just attend one

A video can show you the order of a puja. It cannot hear that your Saṅkalpa is garbled, or notice that you have been skipping Ācamana for a year. Classes are live and small for that reason, and every learner chants and performs alone while the teacher listens.

Canadian families tend to come to us with a specific worry: their children have plenty of cultural community at the temple or the sabha but nowhere to learn the language and the text behind it. Weekend cultural programmes cover celebration well and instruction rarely.

Every mantra corrected live rather than imitated from a recording

The meaning of each step, so the actions are understood and not merely copied

Ṣoḍaśopacāra, the sixteen offerings, taught one at a time with their mantras

Saṅkalpa and Kalasha puja, the steps most households skip or rush

Timings

Batch timings for Canada

Live classes on EST/PST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.

Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal share the East Coast slots, so Saturday and Sunday mornings Eastern are the easiest fit. Vancouver and Calgary families usually take the same weekend batch three hours earlier in their own day. Winter timings do not shift, we hold the local clock time, not the Indian one.

The Greater Toronto Area accounts for most of our Canadian families, with Mississauga, Brampton and Markham the most common. Vancouver and Calgary follow.

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us who the class is for

Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For online puja classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.

3. Pick a slot that fits your week

We place you in a batch scheduled for EST/PST, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.

“The storytelling program transformed my shy son. Last month he confidently narrated a Panchatantra tale at his school assembly. The mentors are patient, warm and world-class.”

No. Mantras are taught sound by sound and corrected live, with the meaning explained line by line. Most learners arrive knowing the shape of the puja but not the words.
