One yoga academy for three generations of the family
A household rarely needs one yoga class. The eight-year-old needs movement that feels like play, the parent needs forty-five minutes that fit between calls, and the grandparent needs a practice that respects stiff knees. We run all three as separate live tracks under one roof, so the whole family practises without anyone being taught at the wrong pace.

One yoga academy for three generations of the family
A mixed-age session or a follow-along video has to aim somewhere in the middle, which means it is too slow for the adult, too long for the child and too demanding for the senior. Splitting by age is not a marketing choice. It is the only way each person gets a class pitched to their own body and a mentor who is actually watching them.
Melbourne accounts for most of our Australian families. Several arrived through the Bharatanatyam community that Nrithyakshetra, our parent academy, is part of, and a good number of Melbourne children learn dance and shlokas alongside each other.
Three tracks, Bala Yoga, Yoga for Adults and Gentle Yoga for Seniors, each its own batch
Asana, pranayama and relaxation in every track, scaled to the age
Small live batches with cameras on, so alignment is corrected as it happens
No commute to a studio, which is usually what ends a yoga habit
Batch timings for Melbourne
Live classes on AEST/AEDT, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Weekday 5:00 to 7:00 PM Melbourne time, which is the late Indian afternoon, plus Saturday mornings. Australia is the most comfortable overlap we have with India — no early starts on either side.
Point Cook, Tarneit, Glen Waverley, Wyndham Vale and Craigieburn are our strongest Melbourne pockets. Daylight saving shifts the offset for part of the year and we move the batch rather than the family.
What you walk away able to do
Surya Namaskar learned correctly, at the depth right for each track
Simple breathing practices the household can use on an ordinary evening
A daily routine at home that does not depend on the class to happen

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us who the class is for
Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For online yoga classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.
3. Pick a slot that fits your week
We place you in a batch scheduled for AEST/AEDT, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.
“My son now begins every day with his shlokas, chanting them perfectly, and actually understanding what they mean. What moved me most is how much calmer and more focused he has become.”

A yoga mat or folded rug, loose clothing, a little clear floor space and a device placed so the mentor can see the whole body. Seniors may want a sturdy chair without wheels as well.
