The oldest stories India told about being clever
A general moral-stories class asks what the right thing to do was. The Panchatantra more often asks what the clever thing was, and those are not always the same answer — which is exactly why children argue about it. We teach the tales as the argument they are, and the frame structure as a storytelling technique the child can then use themselves.
Most of our German families are here for work rather than for a generation, often in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin or Stuttgart, and often expecting to move again.
