Pranayama & Meditation Classes in Canada
Learn to breathe on purpose, then learn to sit still
Everyone breathes, and almost no one is taught how. Pranayama is the part of yoga that trains the breath deliberately, slowing it, lengthening the exhale, balancing one nostril against the other, and meditation is what that steadier breath makes possible. This class puts both at the centre instead of leaving them for the last five minutes.

Learn to breathe on purpose, then learn to sit still
A meditation app plays a calm voice and hopes you follow. It cannot tell that you are holding your breath, straining at the top of the inhale or drifting off after a minute. A live mentor watches the breath itself, corrects the count and the posture, and builds your sitting time up gradually so stillness becomes a skill rather than a struggle.
Canadian families tend to come to us with a specific worry: their children have plenty of cultural community at the temple or the sabha but nowhere to learn the language and the text behind it. Weekend cultural programmes cover celebration well and instruction rarely.
Breath and meditation as the main practice, not a closing afterthought
Techniques taught in a safe order, from simple abdominal breathing upwards
Tools you can use anywhere: at a desk, in traffic or before sleep
Sitting time built up gradually, from a few minutes to longer sessions
Batch timings for Canada
Live classes on EST/PST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal share the East Coast slots, so Saturday and Sunday mornings Eastern are the easiest fit. Vancouver and Calgary families usually take the same weekend batch three hours earlier in their own day. Winter timings do not shift, we hold the local clock time, not the Indian one.
The Greater Toronto Area accounts for most of our Canadian families, with Mississauga, Brampton and Markham the most common. Vancouver and Calgary follow.
What you walk away able to do
A slower, fuller natural breath through the day
A daily meditation habit of ten to twenty minutes
A reliable way to settle the mind before sleep or a difficult moment

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us who the class is for
Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For pranayama & meditation classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.
3. Pick a slot that fits your week
We place you in a batch scheduled for EST/PST, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.
“The storytelling program transformed my shy son. Last month he confidently narrated a Panchatantra tale at his school assembly. The mentors are patient, warm and world-class.”

The gentle techniques we teach first suit most people. Stronger practices are introduced only when you are ready. If you are pregnant or have heart, lung or blood-pressure conditions, tell the mentor beforehand and check with your doctor.
