A cartoon can hold a child’s attention for twenty minutes. It cannot ask them whether Rama was right, or sit with the answer. These are discussion classes disguised as story classes: the mentor tells, then stops, and the batch argues about what just happened.
Sydney families tend to come to us for the epics and the storytelling courses more than for chanting, which is the reverse of what we see in North America. We have never fully worked out why, but it has shaped which batches run at Sydney-friendly times.
