Rangoli Classes in Denmark
Symmetry you draw on the floor, from memory
Rangoli is drawn on the floor, in loose powder, with no eraser and no undo — and it is meant to be swept away the next morning. That combination teaches something a sketchbook cannot: plan the whole thing before you commit, because the first line already decides the last.

Symmetry you draw on the floor, from memory
A drawing class trains the hand on paper, at a desk, at eye level. Rangoli is a different plane, a different scale and an unforgiving medium, and most children who draw well on paper are lost the first time they work on the ground. We start with the dot grid, because symmetry on a floor is arithmetic before it is art.
Indian families in Denmark are mostly recent arrivals working in Copenhagen and Aarhus, in IT, shipping and the pharmaceutical industry. The Danish school day finishes early and leans heavily on free play, and parents often tell us they want the one structured, traditional hour in the week to come from somewhere other than school.
The dot grid (chukki) taught first — the structure everything hangs on
Symmetry worked out rather than guessed, so a design closes correctly
Powder control — the pinch, the pour, and a steady continuous line
Practised on paper before floor, so no material is wasted learning

Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. Families outside Bengaluru take the online batches, which cover the identical curriculum.
Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For rangoli classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for CET. Weekday 5:00 to 7:00 PM Danish time and Saturday mornings, shared with our Scandinavian and German batches.
“The Ramayana classes are the highlight of my daughter’s week. She now teaches us the values she learns. As NRI parents in Dubai, this connection to our culture is priceless.”
Rangoli Classes in Denmark, FAQs
The mentor’s camera looks down at their floor and the child sets a phone or laptop to do the same, so both sides see the work from above. Families in Denmark usually give the child a corner of the floor or a large sheet of card; either works.
