Warli Art Classes for Kids in Banashankari, Bangalore

Warli, the whole world drawn from three shapes

Warli is built from a circle, a triangle and a line, and out of those three shapes the Warli people of Maharashtra draw harvests, weddings, hunts and the tarpa dance. For a child it is the clearest possible lesson in how much you can say with very little, and it is the one folk form a five-year-old can genuinely do well.

Why families choose us

Warli, the whole world drawn from three shapes

Because Warli looks simple, it is usually taught as a stick-figure exercise. What gets lost is that it is narrative art — every panel is a scene with people doing something together. We teach the vocabulary and then the composition, so the child ends up telling a story rather than scattering figures.

Real narrative composition, not scattered stick figures

Traditional white-on-earth palette and the reason for it

Scales from a small panel to a wall at home

Fast visible success, which matters for reluctant children

Timings

Batch timings for Banashankari

Live classes on IST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.

Weekday 5:30 to 8:00 PM IST and weekend mornings, scheduled around Banashankari school hours. The area is a short drive from our base, and families are welcome to visit.

Families come from all the stages, from 1st through 6th, plus Kathriguppe and Girinagar. Many are long-settled south Bengaluru households where shlokas were learned at home a generation ago.

Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. If Banashankari is within a sensible drive, tell us and we will send the current offline batch timings.

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us about your child

Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For warli art classes for kids that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.

3. Pick a slot that survives the school week

We place your child in a batch built for IST. Weekday 5:30 to 8:00 PM IST and weekend mornings, scheduled around Banashankari school hours.

About Banashankari

Warli Art Classes for Kids for families in Banashankari

Banashankari takes its name from the Banashankari Amma temple, and the neighbourhood spreads out in numbered stages around it. It is one of the most settled, tradition-minded parts of South Bengaluru, and Shloka and Gita classes are what families here ask us for first.

Banashankari runs along the Outer Ring Road and Kanakapura Road corridors, and is one of our oldest South Bengaluru catchments.

“My daughter used to freeze on stage. After a few months of public speaking classes, she confidently delivered a speech at her school assembly. The mentors are patient and truly gifted.”

Almost nothing. Brown paper or a brown-painted board, white poster colour and a thin brush. It is the cheapest module we teach, and deliberately so.
