Digital Art Classes for Kids & Teens in Mauritius
Digital art, on top of real drawing skill
A tablet does not make a child a better artist, it makes a mediocre drawing faster to produce. So this class runs the fundamentals and the software together: construction and value on one side, layers, brushes and colour management on the other. What children want to make — characters, scenes, their own comics — is the vehicle for both.

Digital art, on top of real drawing skill
We will not spend the hour teaching menus. Software changes and the skill underneath does not, so roughly half of every class is drawing and half is doing it digitally. Children arriving with no traditional drawing experience are usually asked to take the pencil class alongside, and we will say so when you enquire.
Mauritius is the one country outside South Asia where most of the population is of Indian origin, descended from indentured workers who landed at the Aapravasi Ghat from 1834 onwards. Hindu practice is part of public life — the Maha Shivaratri pilgrimage to Ganga Talao is a national event — so children here usually arrive knowing the rituals and wanting the words and meaning to be taught properly.

Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. Families outside Bengaluru take the online batches, which cover the identical curriculum.
Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For digital art classes for kids & teens that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for MUT. Mauritius is an hour and a half behind India, with no daylight saving.
“My son now begins every day with his shlokas, chanting them perfectly, and actually understanding what they mean. What moved me most is how much calmer and more focused he has become.”

Any drawing tablet or an iPad with a stylus. Krita and Ibis Paint are free and completely sufficient; Procreate is fine if you already own it. We teach principles that carry across apps rather than one program’s menus.
