Rangoli is a different plane, a different scale and an unforgiving medium, and most children who draw well on paper are lost the first time they work on the ground. Mauritius is the one country outside South Asia where most of the population is of Indian origin, descended from indentured workers who landed at the Aapravasi Ghat from 1834 onwards. Hindu practice is part of public life — the Maha Shivaratri pilgrimage to Ganga Talao is a national event — so children here usually arrive knowing the rituals and wanting the words and meaning to be taught properly.

Arts & Painting runs in person at our arts studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and, like every class of ours, at our HSR Layout centre, 243, 16th Main Road, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru 560102. Both use the same mentors and the same curriculum as the online batches. Families outside Bengaluru take the online batches, which cover the identical curriculum.
