Online Bhagavad Gita Classes in Australia

The Gita, taught to children as an argument they can follow

The Gita is a conversation between someone who has frozen and someone who talks him through it. Children understand that situation better than adults expect — they have all stood at the edge of something they did not want to do. We teach it as that conversation, verse by verse, rather than as a set of morals with the reasoning taken out.

Why families choose us

The Gita, taught to children as an argument they can follow

We do not hand children a simplified Gita of nice sayings. We take a small number of verses, in Sanskrit, and go slowly enough that an eight-year-old can say what Krishna is actually claiming and whether they agree. Fewer verses, properly understood, beats a summary of all eighteen chapters.

Australia runs four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of India, which turns out to be the friendliest gap of all. An early evening class in Sydney or Melbourne is the middle of the Indian afternoon, so weekday batches are genuinely easy rather than a compromise.

Emotional tools for pressure, nerves and setbacks

Karma and effort taught in the language of homework and exams

Discussion-led batches, so quiet children still get heard

Live classes on AEST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.

Weekday 5:00 to 7:30 PM AEST is our main Australian window and it works for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra alike. Perth families are three hours behind the eastern states and take an earlier slot. Daylight saving shifts are handled by us, not by you.

Melbourne and Sydney account for most of our Australian families, with Brisbane and Perth growing. Several families found us through the Bharatanatyam community that Nrithyakshetra, our parent academy, is part of.

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us about your child

Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For online bhagavad gita classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.

3. Pick a slot that survives the school week

We place your child in a batch built for AEST. Weekday 5:00 to 7:30 PM AEST is our main Australian window and it works for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra alike.

“The Ramayana classes are the highlight of my daughter’s week. She now teaches us the values she learns. As NRI parents in Dubai, this connection to our culture is priceless.”

Questions

Online Bhagavad Gita Classes in Australia, FAQs

We teach it as scripture, honestly and with respect, and we teach what the text says rather than what to believe. Children ask hard questions in these batches and they get straight answers, not deflection.
