Online Puja Classes in Japan
Learn to perform the puja, not just attend one
Most households in Japan perform some form of daily puja, and most perform it from memory — a sequence half-learnt from a grandparent, with the mantras approximated and a few steps quietly dropped. These classes teach the procedure as it is actually laid down: each step in its place, each mantra pronounced correctly, and the reason behind both.

Learn to perform the puja, not just attend one
A video can show you the order of a puja. It cannot hear that your Saṅkalpa is garbled, or notice that you have been skipping Ācamana for a year. Classes are live and small for that reason, and every learner chants and performs alone while the teacher listens.
Most Indian families in Japan live in Tokyo, many around Nishikasai in Edogawa, where IT professionals began settling around the turn of the millennium; Kobe has an older community of Gujarati and Sindhi merchant families. Children here are often in Japanese or international schools, fluent in two or three languages already, and remarkably good at the disciplined repetition shloka learning asks for.
Every mantra corrected live rather than imitated from a recording
The meaning of each step, so the actions are understood and not merely copied
Ṣoḍaśopacāra, the sixteen offerings, taught one at a time with their mantras
Saṅkalpa and Kalasha puja, the steps most households skip or rush
Batch timings for Japan
Live classes on JST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Japan is three and a half hours ahead of India and does not observe daylight saving. A 6:00 to 7:30 PM weekday class in Tokyo is 2:30 to 4:00 PM in India, and Saturday morning JST batches are the Indian early morning. Both work without strain on either side.
What you walk away able to do
Performing the complete nitya puja at home with confidence
Correct Sanskrit pronunciation across the whole sequence
Understanding what every offering and mantra actually means

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us who the class is for
Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For online puja classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.
3. Pick a slot that fits your week
We place you in a batch scheduled for JST, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.
“The Ramayana classes are the highlight of my daughter’s week. She now teaches us the values she learns. As NRI parents in Dubai, this connection to our culture is priceless.”
