Pranayama & Meditation Classes in Qatar

Learn to breathe on purpose, then learn to sit still

Everyone breathes, and almost no one is taught how. Pranayama is the part of yoga that trains the breath deliberately, slowing it, lengthening the exhale, balancing one nostril against the other, and meditation is what that steadier breath makes possible. This class puts both at the centre instead of leaving them for the last five minutes.

Why families choose us

Learn to breathe on purpose, then learn to sit still

A meditation app plays a calm voice and hopes you follow. It cannot tell that you are holding your breath, straining at the top of the inhale or drifting off after a minute. A live mentor watches the breath itself, corrects the count and the posture, and builds your sitting time up gradually so stillness becomes a skill rather than a struggle.

Indians are the largest expatriate community in Qatar, and most families here live in and around Doha with children in CBSE or Kerala-board Indian schools. What Qatar does not have is a public temple, so the shloka a child learns is learned at home or nowhere — which is exactly the gap a live class fills.

Breath and meditation as the main practice, not a closing afterthought

Techniques taught in a safe order, from simple abdominal breathing upwards

Tools you can use anywhere: at a desk, in traffic or before sleep

Sitting time built up gradually, from a few minutes to longer sessions

Timings

Batch timings for Qatar

Live classes on AST (UTC+3), scheduled around your week rather than ours.

Qatar is two and a half hours behind India with no daylight saving, so a 5:00 to 7:30 PM weekday class in Doha is 7:30 to 10:00 PM in India, comfortable for both ends. The Qatari weekend is Friday and Saturday, and weekend batches are scheduled on those days, not on the Indian Sunday.

What you gain

What you walk away able to do

A slower, fuller natural breath through the day

A daily meditation habit of ten to twenty minutes

A reliable way to settle the mind before sleep or a difficult moment

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us who the class is for

Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For pranayama & meditation classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.

3. Pick a slot that fits your week

We place you in a batch scheduled for AST (UTC+3), around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.

“The Ramayana classes are the highlight of my daughter’s week. She now teaches us the values she learns. As NRI parents in Dubai, this connection to our culture is priceless.”
