Pranayama & Meditation Classes in the UAE

Learn to breathe on purpose, then learn to sit still

Everyone breathes, and almost no one is taught how. Pranayama is the part of yoga that trains the breath deliberately, slowing it, lengthening the exhale, balancing one nostril against the other, and meditation is what that steadier breath makes possible. This class puts both at the centre instead of leaving them for the last five minutes.

Why families choose us

Learn to breathe on purpose, then learn to sit still

A meditation app plays a calm voice and hopes you follow. It cannot tell that you are holding your breath, straining at the top of the inhale or drifting off after a minute. A live mentor watches the breath itself, corrects the count and the posture, and builds your sitting time up gradually so stillness becomes a skill rather than a struggle.

Beyond Dubai, we teach families across Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah. The pattern is consistent across the Emirates: parents on long working hours, children in Indian curriculum schools, and a wish for something rooted that does not depend on a weekend drive.

Breath and meditation as the main practice, not a closing afterthought

Techniques taught in a safe order, from simple abdominal breathing upwards

Posture for sitting comfortably, on the floor or in a chair

Sitting time built up gradually, from a few minutes to longer sessions

Timings

Batch timings for the UAE

Live classes on GST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.

Weekend batches follow the UAE’s Saturday–Sunday weekend, with Friday afternoon slots after the half-day, alongside weekday 5:00 to 7:30 PM GST batches. The one-and-a-half-hour offset from India means almost any slot works for both ends.

Abu Dhabi and Sharjah follow Dubai in numbers. Because the timezone is so convenient, UAE families are also the most likely to take two classes a week.

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us who the class is for

Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For pranayama & meditation classes that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.

3. Pick a slot that fits your week

We place you in a batch scheduled for GST, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.

“The Ramayana classes are the highlight of my daughter’s week. She now teaches us the values she learns. As NRI parents in Dubai, this connection to our culture is priceless.”

No. Sitting posture is taught in class, and a chair is fine. If you would like a fuller physical practice as well, our adult and senior yoga tracks include asana.
