Yoga for Back Pain in Ireland

Careful yoga for a back that has had enough of sitting

A stiff lower back is often the long bill for years of chairs, car seats and sofas: tight hips, a weak core and a spine that has forgotten how to move in every direction. Our Therapeutic Yoga track works on that pattern slowly, with a mentor who knows your history before you roll out the mat and who leaves out anything your back should not be doing.

Why families choose us

Careful yoga for a back that has had enough of sitting

Search for back-pain yoga and you will find videos full of deep forward folds and strong twists, exactly the movements someone with a disc problem may be told to avoid. A generic video cannot ask what your doctor said. A live mentor can, and builds the session around it, choosing supported, pain-free ranges over impressive shapes.

Ireland’s Indian community has grown quickly over the last two decades, carried largely by doctors and nurses in the health service — many of them from Kerala — and by engineers in Dublin’s tech sector. Most of these families are the first generation abroad, which means the grandparent who would once have taught shlokas is usually a video call away rather than down the hall.

Poses chosen and modified for disc and sciatica concerns, with risky ones left out

Gentle core and glute strengthening to support the lower back

Hip and hamstring release for the tightness long sitting leaves behind

Desk-posture habits taught alongside the practice, not only on the mat

Timings

Batch timings for Ireland

Live classes on GMT, scheduled around your week rather than ours.

Ireland keeps UK time, so the same after-school weekday window works here: 4:30 to 6:30 PM Irish time, which is 9:00 to 11:00 PM in India in winter and an hour earlier in summer. Saturday morning batches run too. Families working hospital shifts can move between batches week to week.

Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick are where most Indian families in Ireland live. Irish families usually sit in the same batches as UK children, since the clock is identical.

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us who the class is for

Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For yoga for back pain that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.

3. Pick a slot that fits your week

We place you in a batch scheduled for GMT, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.

“My son now begins every day with his shlokas, chanting them perfectly, and actually understanding what they mean. What moved me most is how much calmer and more focused he has become.”
