Yoga for PCOS & PCOD in South Africa

Steady movement and calm routine, alongside your PCOS care

Living with PCOS or PCOD often means juggling medication, diet advice, irregular cycles and a lot of stress about all of it. Doctors frequently recommend regular exercise and stress management as part of the plan. This class is designed to make those two things easier to keep up: a balanced mix of active yoga, strength work, calming breath and relaxation in a live batch that stays consistent.

Why families choose us

Steady movement and calm routine, alongside your PCOS care

The internet is crowded with “cure PCOS with these five poses” claims, and they are not true. PCOS is a medical condition that needs a doctor. What a good yoga class can honestly offer is regular activity, a way to manage stress, and a routine that supports the lifestyle changes your doctor has asked for, taught by a mentor who knows your situation.

South Africa’s Indian community began arriving in 1860 as indentured labourers in the Natal sugar fields, and Durban is still the largest Indian-origin city outside Asia. Families here are often fifth generation or more; Tamil, Telugu and Hindi-speaking roots survive in temple life and festivals, but the Sanskrit underneath has frequently gone quiet, and parents come to us to bring it back.

Stress-calming pranayama and relaxation, since stress affects many women with PCOS

Regular live batches that make exercise consistent

Poses adapted around cycles, fatigue or any other condition you share

Batch timings for South Africa

Live classes on SAST, scheduled around your week rather than ours.

South Africa is three and a half hours behind India and does not use daylight saving, so the gap never moves. Weekday 4:30 to 6:30 PM SAST is 8:00 to 10:00 PM in India, and Saturday morning batches run too.

Most Indian South African families live in Durban and the wider KwaZulu-Natal, with significant communities in Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Getting started is easy

Three simple steps to begin

1. Tell us who the class is for

Call or WhatsApp us and say who is joining and where they are starting from. For yoga for pcos & pcod that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to their age, body and experience.

2. Personal guidance from a mentor

A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with you for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class and batch of ours.

3. Pick a slot that fits your week

We place you in a batch scheduled for SAST, around work, family and daily routine rather than across them.

“The storytelling program transformed my shy son. Last month he confidently narrated a Panchatantra tale at his school assembly. The mentors are patient, warm and world-class.”
