Yoga Classes for Kids in Dallas
Bala Yoga that feels like play and works like training
Children today sit more than any generation before them, hunched over tablets, homework and school desks. Bala Yoga gives that body somewhere else to go: animal poses, yoga stories and breathing games that open the hips and shoulders, and a short calm at the end that a restless child genuinely learns to settle into.

Bala Yoga that feels like play and works like training
An adult yoga class shrunk down for children loses them in ten minutes, because holding a pose and counting breaths is not how a seven-year-old engages. Bala Yoga is built the other way round, from play towards practice, so the child keeps coming back and the posture and focus arrive almost without them noticing.
Dallas has grown quickly for us, largely through families who moved from the Bay Area or New Jersey and brought their batch with them. Central time sits neatly between our two American coasts, so Dallas children can usually join either coast’s batch.
Animal poses and yoga stories that hold a child’s attention for the whole class
Posture work that counters hours of screens and school desks
Breathing games that teach a child how to calm themselves down
Small live batches of children close in age, never a mixed adult class
Batch timings for Dallas
Live classes on CT, scheduled around your week rather than ours.
Weekday 6:00 to 7:30 PM Central and Saturday morning Central are the working slots. Because Central is an hour off Eastern, a Dallas family can take an East Coast batch at 5:30 PM local if that is the timing that suits the household.
Irving, Plano, Frisco, Coppell and Allen are where we hear from most. Families here tend to ask about weekend intensives more than weekday batches, which is usually a school-schedule question rather than a commitment question.

Three simple steps to begin
1. Tell us about your child
Call or WhatsApp us and say where your child is starting from. For yoga classes for kids that matters — the mentor pitches the first class to what they can already do.
2. Personal guidance from a mentor
A real, live class, not a sales call. The mentor works with your child for the full session and then tells you honestly whether this is the right class of ours for them.
3. Pick a slot that survives the school week
We place your child in a batch built for CT. Weekday 6:00 to 7:30 PM Central and Saturday morning Central are the working slots.
“My son now begins every day with his shlokas, chanting them perfectly, and actually understanding what they mean. What moved me most is how much calmer and more focused he has become.”

Five is a comfortable start, and the track runs to fourteen. Batches are grouped by age so a six-year-old and a thirteen-year-old are never in the same class.
